i feel like windmill will be more novel since lighthouses were in GC version.

Hard choice. 'Windmill's quaint, but the lighthouse is novelty. Plus, windmill would seem like I'm going green and all that nonsense, with wind power. I prefer the lighthouse, it actually has a point.
