Will you abandon New Leaf?

Well?

I've pretty much stopped playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf long time ago. Even if I consider the game to be among the best 3DS titles out now, there's only so much it could retain my interest once I've experienced everything the game has to offer.

Of course, when the next installment comes out, I'll be playing that one for at least a year, assuming that the game doesn't regularly receive update data.

Nope! Animal Crossing for the gamecube will always be my favorite (because it was the first video game I ever played and also nostalgia :P), but personally, I believe New Leaf is the greatest installment of AC, I don't think I'll ever stop playing it :D

Q: Will you abandon this game when a new Animal Crossing is announced?

A: Honestly, yes. I have already stopped playing New Leaf completely. I have been playing it since the it first came out, and it gets boring after around 5 years. I think a fresh start would be lovely. My sisters and I were generously gifted a Nintendo Switch last Christmas, so you can bet money that I once (I refuse to think "if". It will happen!) the new Animal Crossing for the Switch comes out, I'll be playing it all of high school. I'm ready and waiting, Nintendo!

I don't think I would completely abandon New Leaf because I'm that attatched and I just bought a new cartridge and started up a second town so I have a lot of things to still accomplish, however when the new one is released I just know I'll be playing it 24/7 so New Leaf might get forgotten about a little ahah

Honestly, I probably will :( I think if a new game comes out and it’s amazing, New Leaf will probably seem boring. I played Wild World for years and loved it, but as soon as I started playing NL, WW seemed so boring in comparison. But eventually I’d probably play every so often for nostalgia like I do with WW :)

I haven't got a switch yet, so I'd probably only get the new game if I heard it was vastly improved. I have 4 nl towns 2 are very new so I'd probably want to keep playing them.

I have a lot of attachment to my town, so no I won't abandon when AC Switch comes out. I definitely won't play it every day or maybe even every week, but I'll check in to Vista now and then for sure.

If a new one does come out, I don't think I'll abandon NL especially because I don't have a switch technically. My boyfriend let's me borrow his once in a while and claims it's "our" switch, but I probably wouldn't get to play often sadly unless I got my own. So unless I own a switch myself, I'll still be actively playing NL:)

I don't think I would completely abandon NL, but I wouldn't play it much at all if/when a new AC is released. I usually rotate AC games a bit, and play whatever I feel like (right now i'm playing a bit more of CF actually :p) so eventually I would do the same with the new AC game. For quite a while after a new game's release though, it would be my main AC game to play! :D

For me, I?ll probably ?stop? playing if the Dream Suite ever shuts down.

When there are no more dreams, I will probably put all my New Leaf towns ?to sleep?.

Sweet Dreams.....

NEVER! Although I'll probably buy this new game

That's tough to say. Right now I'd say no, but there might be something to a potential new game that is so good that you may not feel the need to ever go back to NL.

I've devoted WAY too much time and effort to my towns to just abandon them. When the next Animal Crossing game is announced (I'm fully expecting Nintendo to give us SOMETHING for E3), I'll get it and play it like crazy, but no. I won't be giving up my New Leaf towns.

Unless Nintendo announces that somehow, some way, our NL towns can be ported to the Switch. I know it could never happen, but...man, would I love to play Bunifrey on my television in 1080p HD.

I was hoping for some kind of backwards compatability.

Though I'm pretty sure the Switch isn't.

It was meant to be. :(

I hope all the amiibo figures and cards don't become obsolete.
That would be a waste.

Depending on how soon the game releases, I very likely wouldn't be able to afford it at launch since I haven't even purchased a Switch yet. With that in mind, and considering that I'm still finalizing things in my New Leaf towns (trying to acquire the last few villagers I want, getting specific Public Works Projects suggested and constructed) I figure I'll stick around with New Leaf for a while. Plus, while I love New Leaf, for all I know I might dislike the Switch game for whatever reason as City Folk was greatly disappointing to me and I couldn't get into it. It's too soon to say definitively since we don't know much about the upcoming game, but for the myriad reasons stated I'm leaning toward No on the poll.

I won't abandon it.

I reckon the next AC game will require more data than I can afford.

Not a fan of online interaction.

I love NL.
It took ages to build my town.
I can't just abandon it the moment something new comes along.

It would have to be a HUGE improvement with no involvement with the mobile game for me to consider playing it.

Everything Jon Snow just said.

never, its so sweet and a good way of cheering myself up c':
if the new game is on the switch im screwed anyways lol
