Will we get to keep our DESTINY characters from Beta?

That's probably a maybe. Most Betas don't let you keep Beta stuff, but there's still time.
I read somewhere that you don't but I can't seem to find any definitive information about it anywhere. Total bummer because I updated to a new ship, too!
By the way, which class did you play as? I had a Hunter (Awoken) and a Warlock (Exo).

You got a new ship? How much glimmer did that set you back?
I'd say there's a chance it might. It depends on how many changes will be made. If they need to change a lot, then no, we won't be able to keep them. But it would appear that most of the major changes would have been implemented after the Alpha stage.
Notice how trying to go to the Moon for campaign was locked, as if buying the finished game next month will unlock the rest. I think the BETA may have been the start of the game and for those who didn't play the beta will get the same start as us with minor changes (e.g. voice tracks, textures.)

I got on a Pike and rode into an underground temple, most of the enemies there were higher leveled than me but the vehicle made my job much easier. haha! But then I got booted and when I was able to get back online, the moon was closed. I didn't get a chance to play through as a Titan but I did get on the wrong side of that Hulk Smash move in pvp a few times.

I got to the moon but only for Crucible Matches...other than that roughly a third of the Old Russia level wasn't accessible due to the Level ?? hive and fallen that were about. I had no idea they opened it for exploration, it may have been exclusive to your platform, country or whatever. There was a LOT of things keeping me from getting the most out of the beta. But I managed to get all the hidden chests and get the exclusive Sparrow. If nothing else I hope that carries over to the final game. While I spent hours of grinding into my guardian the prospect of holding onto a beta-exclusive item is appealing
Gah I love the titan super <3 IGN put up a video of a Bungie dev showing off what a level 29 Titan does and I'm now sure I made the right choice. I never tried the other classes though, which I should have. I suck at pvp, like I've won nearly every team match I've played but only because my team carried me. In a 5-10 minute came I died as much as 90 times. But I'm super excited for the raid mode 
What I really want in the finished game is a theater mode like Halo and the ability to choose whether or not you wear a helmet in the tower. Small stuff, but I'm picky.

Gah! I never did get that cool sparrow. Congrats on that-I hope you're able to keep it! I'm playing on the Xbox One in the US, so I'm not sure what effect that had. When I did get to explore around the moon must have been when they were doing the heavy testing because no one else spawned there, so that was odd. There were some really cool areas, I'll include a crappy cell phone pic of my tv at the bottom of one of my favorite moon temples I found.
Yeah, I enjoyed finding the "hidden" caves around the Old Russia level map...only to go in there and get destroyed by those unleveled enemies.
I've never played a game with engrams like that before but I thought that was a really cool aspect! I loved having a really long hooded cowl on my hunter (even though I don't think it came with any perks?)I am not very good at pvp either! The first FPS I ever played was Halo 4. I was kinda hoping we'd be able to play together but I'm on 360...bugger. But that's so cool you got to go to the moon, jealous sprinting through the caves trying survive was a laugh. There was loot behind a huge hive so me and a friend had to take turns distracting him so one of us could get it :L what exactly is a cowl? I'm guessing it's like a mark on your armor like the hip cloths titans have. See I play Halo 4 as well and I'm not fond of it although I play multiplayer religiously and I actually don't suck! You didn't sound cocky at all! I'm just a little jealous-haha! We also have a 360 but it's been rather neglected as of late. Do let me know if you get an xbox one-it would be fun to play together!
Yep, the cowl is the head/neck cloth that the hunter's wear just like the Titan's hip cloth. I had a engram for one that was long and battered-totally badass looking! But I look forward to collecting more in the full game.
I'll start buying lottery tickets and counting pennies so, then we'll see about an xbox one :L
Yeah I'm starting to thinking now that some things might pass over to the final game because a lot of people who took part in the Iron Banner won stuff like cowls and hip cloths, so it'd be a real bummer if they lost those :/
Haha, good luck in the lotto! I won 27 dollars in scratch offs once, but that's my biggest jackpot to date.
I think you may be right. I'm hoping that stuff will carry over too. It's just over a month away now and I can't wait!

I never got to play on the Moon, but played like 2 matches in a gamemode thingy that seemed to only be open a couple times. It was still domination, but I think leaning towards more competitive gaming. I had a female human hunter and a female human warlock. I played the hunter to level 8 and the warlock to like level 3.
