Will villagers wear the delivered clothes?

i already know what’s in the gift because i gave it and didn’t save lol but will the villager ever wear this??

If you're referring to delivery between villagers, most likely yes. That's how Static on my previous island ended up in a cursed baby romper. I had to gift him some cool guy stuff to change his mind haha

Yea I'd be very careful about delivering gifts. I always make sure it isn't something super ugly especially with how difficult it is to rotate clothes out of villager's closets now

Yeah, I think they do. Sometimes villagers gift the worst clothes/items to other villagers so I'd be careful. If you've ruined the villager's house already and have nothing to lose (like me), you can go for it though!

punchy is giving marshal this cavalier shirt and i’m not about to let marshal look like a priest.. maybe i’ll take that -1 relationship on punchy.. he’s a permanent resident anyway and i always give gifts

Yeah, someone gifted Roscoe a purple basketball jersey and he wore it the next day. I immediately went to find some kind of black work out outfit for him to replace it haha

just wanted to let you know that your posts (here and in other places on the forums) have convinced me that punchy NEEDS to be in my NL lineup. Even though I'll already have Raddle - two lazies cause they're just that cute

he is a sweetie! i love being the acting CEO of punchy supremacy hahah inhave 2 lazies too and one happened to be a frog as well (jeremiah) i think lazies are really cute in general. NL was fun, i actually wanna get back to playing it!

so i was stubborn and did the delivery anyway, because i don't want punchy to think i'm not doing his requests (he's a virtual cat, why am i like this?)

the whole week it was just in his fridge, then today he decided to wear it. yeah no sorry no more deliveries for these villagers.
