Will somebody move?

I've been time traveling day by day so I could buy bush starts. Anyways, it has been a week since someone asked me to move out. I know someone is planning on moving, but no one will ping me about it. Everyone just talks about how Lolly has a cold. I've tried saving and quitting ten times on both of my players, but still no ping. I'm really paranoid that I'll lose someone if I time travel to the next day. Does anyone know if I will?

Also it's currently the Autumn Moon festival thing, so does that have any influence on why I'm not getting pinged?

as far as i know, you will get ping everyday be it random dialogues or moving out. if you keep getting pings about random dialogues after u reload the game on different hours but on the same day, then it means no one is moving. or if you're not getting pinged, someone has already made up their mind to move already. and also, some events do have affect on making villagers ping you. 2 would be bunny day and festivale. villagers wont ping you as well on bug off and fishing tourney but they will after they end.

Give Lolly medicine to cure her cold and then the rumors should be different and you can find out if anyone is planning to move!

I have gotten pinged several times all throughout the day for random things, so that means no one is moving? Also, if I were to time travel forward on the system clock and not the game clock and then I loaded up a brand new character right away, would it show if someone were in boxes ready to move?

If it has been over a week since someone asked to move then you need to talk to everybody and give Lolly medicine. Someone should definitely be in the4 move out cycle. villagers won't ping you to move out if you haven't talked to them in a while.

Have you been talking to everyone? If you haven't, you need to get the dialogue about how they haven't seen you in a long time before they can ping you. Are there any events coming up in your game?

You can also try to force a ping and check who's moving. Just load your game and then save and quit. Set your 3DS clock to a distant date and start the game as a new character. Check who's missing from the map and quit without saving your game. Set the 3DS clock back to normal and use your mayor to talk to the villager who is missing in the future. If they don't say anything about moving, talk to them a few times, save and quit, and talk to them again. Keep doing that last part until they ping you. It normally only takes a couple of tries until they ping.
