Will Nintendo rerelease the Welcome Amiibo (RV) cards eventually?

I'm interested in several villagers/cards from the Welcome Amiibo series, and I've been trying to purchase authentic cards on eBay, but because this series is out of print, they go for big prices.

Nintendo has rereleased series 1-4 and the Sanrio cards are being released next month. I'm curious/confused as to why the RV cards haven't been rereleased yet, now almost a year into NH's lifespan.

Do people think this will happen eventually and are there any theories as to why it hasn't happened yet?

If they bought back the RV's and items to Harvey's it would make sense.

Then I could use all of series five again, instead of them wasting away in a drawer.

If I recall(and I could be wrong) I think the RV cards will be coming back at the same time as the HK ones.
