will my town transfer to a new 3DS?

So I have a digital copy of Animal Crossing. I'm wondering if when I get my new 3DS if they save file will transfer over along with my other stuff. Does anyone know?

IF you transfer your data. If it's broken, call Nintendo to get your copy back. Your town won't be there.

I'm pretty sure that as long as nothing is wrong with your SD card, you can just take out the SD card in your old system and still play the games with that SD card on your new system.

Just make sure that everything is properly there. Back up the stuff on that SD card into your computer in case anything is wrong. If you don't want to go this method, your Nintendo account should have a copy of the digital download you have and you should still be able to get that back and play new leaf, just not your old town.

Yes, if you transfer over your data (like your SD card). I think there are instructions on Nintendo's website on transferring things over.
