I spent some time in April 2060 and there were no eggs to be seen anywhere so there is no way of confirming.

I hope the holidays stay the same though because if not it would suck for someone who hasn’t been playing from day one (or for anyone who takes a temporary hiatus from the game)

I hope that Nintendo patches in all holidays once the game reaches the end of its support lifespan.
