Would this mean they share the qr code to my design ??? To there new island??

I don't think so. From what I've seen it just means that if they were wearing one of your designs at some point, they'll probably wear it in their new island whie cycling through their clothes, but I don't think it transfers to other villagers, and the other player won't get the qr code to it either.
But if that other player starts giving them clothes the villager will probably stop wearing the design.

This is a great way to share designs without people being able to copy them love it
Not really? Only the villager that moves there will wear it, and like I said it will likely stop appearing as soon as the other pleayer gives them clothes. It's probably easier to share designs with the ables sister shop or with nintendo online.

Not sure if your question has already been answered but, I got Lolly from somebody on this forum who had given her a custom QR code sweater and she wears it all the time on my island! she even referenced her old island and says the previous player made her this custom design.

This happened to me too with Ankha. I have given her about 5 different outfits yet she still wears her custom QR! At first I didn't really like it, but now I think its cute!
