• Easter season is here! Here's what we have going on at The Bell Tree:
    • The egg decorating contest is back! Join TBT’s Fifth Egg Decorating Contest, now with two distinct categories: decorating and painting. Entries must be submitted by April 9th.
    • Starting this Friday at 7PM EDT, follow clues to search for eggs around the forum in TBT's Thirteenth Annual Easter Egg Hunt. New eggs will appear throughout the weekend and the hunt ends on April 6th!
    • Customize your profile by spending bells on any of our three recurring backdrops.

Wildlife Spotting (The Poliwags Cabin)

I don't think it can be referring to a game earlier than New Leaf, because Flora and Fauna didn't appear prior to that.
As well as Isabelle.

So at least it seems like where ever we have to look is either in the NH or NL categories (wow, that's like a lot more specific than clue #2 if so!)

I haven't done any previous egg hunts, but I feel that events are now very general AC or ACNH focussed, rather than previous games.

tried
MYSTERYISLAND
CAMPSITE
AMIIBOFESTIVALE
WELCOMEAMIIBO
and checked this thread

"Bell ringing" could be wedding season
"fall" could be Autumn
Chip could be fishing tourney
Rally could be the museum rally

Willow is probably referring to the sheep, but could the "grand tree" be referring to the town tree in New Leaf?

edit: tried dizzy bone's NL town name, "TINYTREE"

Maybe. For some reason I'm really gravitating to NL here.

- the grand tree
- chip
- wasn't there a thing in NL where you could only have 9 villagers unless you invited one from another player or from the campsite, or scanned in an amiibo post-WA update? so maybe a thread about having 9 villagers and waiting to see who the random 10th would be? idk

This is what I got from Googling:
In New Leaf, the maximum number of villagers in total is ten, though the tenth can only be accessed by either having one move in from a friend's town, using the amiibo cards, or the campsite.

So it looks like you're correct.

Can confirm that about the tenth villager!

Idk whether this is the case or whether it was just a way to fit Isabelle in there. “Is a bell ringing”
