wii trouble

Ok so i turned on my wii and the remote won't pick up signal from the sensor bar not even a bit everything is plugged in and my wii controller has full battery and i tried to sync it and it still wont work help me please

There is a red button on the Wii remote and on the Wii console, Hold both down till they connect.
