uhh everytime i want to go to anothers town it wont show up and when i open gates they say that my town neither appears some1 help
... This happened after christmas as well, iit must be just jammed up, keep trying is all you can do

WiFi could be down for everyone or it's just your connection to the net. Good luck.
Probably because Nintendo's servers are very busy, and some Wi-Fi requests cannot get through. So, be patient, and hopefully it'll work soon.
