Why wont blathers...

Accept my fossils!!?!
I have 2/3 of my FINAL fossils that I need and he will NOT accept them! He says:
"...huh? It doesn't seem you have anything on your person that we can accept at the moment...We take bugs, fish, sea creatures, official Blathers-assessed fossils, and works of art. If you have any of those that our museum is currently lacking...we'd absolutely love the donation!


but I need these 2, for SURE. I bought them from the re-tail thread, is this the reason?!

that shouldn't be a problem I don't think? a friend of mine gave me a bunch of fossils I needed and he accepted them fine. that's really weird.

Have you tried assessing them? Maybe your Blathers need to approve them first.
