Why the hate on monkey villagers?

I thought I hated uchis, but it turns out I just hated Shari, who was the first uchi I had in my town (and also the first monkey since ACNL is my first game). She went to the void as soon as she was willing to leave. Got Phoebe and Fuchsia now, no complaints about either. I'm not even sure why I dislike the monkeys come to think of it, but I definitely do. Everything Shari said just annoyed me, which is ridiculous because Phoebe and Fuchsia say all the same stuff.

I had Shari a little ago, and she was fine, but she's the only monkey I've ever had. I don't dislike all monkeys, but some, like Elise, are just.. eww.

I love Tammi. She was one of my starters in my old town and she was in my new town for a little while. She's super sweet and a really great peppy. Her appearance doesn't even really bother me.

imo Elise looks more like a 'schoolgirl' porn star who hasn't started filming yet.
Any moment she will take those glasses off, shake her hair out and start doing unspeakable things with those lips.
