Why the hate on chickens?

I dunno, I feel like the only one who's actually fine with the chickens' body shape.

Their body shape is fine, I just personally don't like the chickens designs. Becky and Ken are okay looking.

I don't mind the chickens. Just one of those species I don't really care for, but there's certain villagers I wouldn't mind having in my town like Ken and Knox. Egbert follows me in every single one of my games. He's almost always a starter villager for me.

Chickens are ok? There's just so many bird types in the game that they're easily forgettable. Goose is amazing though.

Of the chickens, I only really dislike Goose. I imagine Knox would be really hard to shop for clothing-wise, and I still hate Broffina's name. I don't hate those two in terms of their appearance though.
