Because he is so cute! I remember not really getting it either bc when I saw pictures his eyes kinda scared me, but when he was in my new town a while ago I ended LOVING him!<3 He's so adorable!

Different strokes for different folks I guess. To be fair, I wouldn't mind having him in my other town. I got Marshal in my other town the first time around for a smug villager spot. I didn't even knew he was that popular at first. He looks irritated all the time, but after spending many times with him, he grew on me and decided to keep him in my town. What is also funny, I bought series 3 amiibo packs and end up getting him in my second pack! Ahahaha, and I didn't even expect to get him since I was aiming for Apollo. Didn't get Apollo though, so I just order the card on Ebay for 2 dollars instead.

She’s like warm days, sunshine, honey & love.
I really adore his design. Like others said, it's impossible to get him mixed up with another villager because his design is so unique. A cute, colorful stuffed teddy bear. He's such a sweetheart and I think the lazy personality suits him perfectly. I have him in my main town and adore him to bits. I also have his plush. <3 His house is so whimsical and charming. He also appeals to horror towns. I don't think he is, but I can definitely see why others would think that. He'd be a possessed bear. A friendly one. <3 Anyway, he's just precious.
