Why is Stitches so popular?

Honestly, I like Stitches to his personality and dialogue. :p
He might seem "cute" to some, then there are those who think he's "creepy".
It all just falls to the preference of the person. :)

Like someone else said, he was a random move in on my Wild World back in the day. His room, the music that plays in his room, his catchphrase "stuffin'" and everything about him has always been so adorable to me.

He was one of my starters too! I just think he's very cute with his lazy personality and colorful design.

People (myself included of course!) think he's quite cute since he is literally a living teddy bear! Also he is pretty colourful which can be a standout trait and of course his design makes him really unique so you can definitely not get him mixed up with another villager. Him interior design choice (K.K. Lullaby included) is just adorable and kinda whimsical, as well as his sweet little phrase "stuffin" ^_^ I can't see how anyone would dislike such a little sweetheart! (And his lazy personality fits him perfectly lol!) I can imagine the only people who actually "hate" him is either because they find his design creepy or they hate the popular villagers for literally no reason other than they don't want to be too mainstream or whatever. I wish he was one of my starters! <3

He's a living plushie! I just think being a stuffed bear makes him super cute and unique. I've not had him in my towns before, but he's one of my favorites just based on how he looks alone.

I don't know, I've never understood the appeal. Yeah he's a teddy bear but his eyes look like they've been plucked out and that's disturbing as ****. He'd make a good villager for a creepy town, but I don't think he's cute at all.

Because he's adorable. /thread

I think the real question is why a lot of people want the same villagers. I can understand Marshal and Zucker, but there are plenty of other cute villagers.

Because he is...

1.)Adorable

2.)Is a Stitched Teddy Bear

3.)Colorful

4.)Cute

5.) Super Cute

6.)Kawaii

7.)Super Kawaii

8.) Super Adorable

I used to hate him because

1.)I Thought He Was Ugly

2.)I Thought He Was Scary

3.) I Thought He Was Creepy

Now I've come to my senses and realized I was wrong about him being ugly and scary and creepy.

Oh and he is living in my town and I love him but he isn't a dreamie for Lysfjord and I'm going to sell him on the Villager Trading Plaza (or, what it should be called, The Villager Trafficking Market) for lots of tbt.

I have no clue whatsoever. There's nothing special or spectacular about him in my opinion. Just that he's supposed to be a stuffed animal, but I just don't see what's so cute about his design.

People may have different reasons for liking certain villagers over others, but overall, Stitches is "cute". A colorful little bear that looks like he was loved too much...

I currently have him in an old WW town, but wouldn't have paid a large amount of bells to have him in NL. Of course, the amiibo cards make it much easier to get a certain villager now (though I imagine a few would go for higher prices than others).

Funny enough, he's been in my two town's campsites a number of times (of course, when my towns were always full!).

I restarted my town today, and he was one of my starter villagers. I remember him being one of the most wanted villagers on TBT. So what is it about Stitches that makes him so popular?

I honestly don't see it. He is CREEPY. He even has the kiddie set in his home.

I think its because of the "kawaii" aesthetic, a stuffed bear fits that perfectly, mixed with the colourful patterns and the somewhat "creepy" design adds a likability to him.

or simply because he's a stuffed bear that can talk.
