Why is my NH Bulletin board mostly empty?

Is weird, When I visit my WW copy I see new posts, random messages, birthdays and event notes even after months not playing, but I've been playing daily NH for the past month and literally my last post is from February, which is quite sad because makes the town feel less alive than when you see a random post and can't help to imagine one of your villagers posting while you weren't looking.

Can this be fixed?

My theory is that they don't add much while you're away because there's no point in alerting you for events you won't be around for.

Then again, my sister who hasn't played in years still has 300+ letters, so I'm not completely sure what the "time away" threshold is...

That's what I wonder, because I do get letters when I am away but not posts, at older entries I would see posts while not playing but even when I play for a long period NH I barely see anything :c
