Did you time travel at all when moving her in? I have read that if you time travel over days during the move out/ plot sold/ move in phase it can cause the house exterior glitch.

Basically this. Had it happen to me when I was moving out Diana and moving in Croque. I skipped plot day and Croque got Diana's exterior.

Did you TT backwards or TT forward more than 1 day at a time during the move in process? That may have caused this glitch. Unfortunately cannot be easily resolved - you need to move the villager out and then back in again for the correct exterior.

I cant remember if i time traveled.. it took me a while to realize but i had a wierd feeling about it lol..
i also just read if you dont play on the second day the house doesnt fully load or somthing..

This is kindve a neat thing because u can change the outside of villagers houses.. but im gonna have to let her move and come back i geuss...

This is a know glitch that happens when you time-travel backwards before the villager moves in. To prevent this, you must tt forward until the villager has moved in the house and is unpacking.

A lot of people have gotten this and even used it to alter houses that they don't like. There is no fix, if you want the original house you'll have to kick the villager out and move them back in

As others said, yes you can't time travel to speed up moving them in UNLESS you go day by day and don't skip the day where the plot is empty and the sign says "SOLD." Even if you skip playing the game for this specific day naturally (without TT) while the villager is in the process of being moved in their exterior will glitch.

I tested this myself multiple times to see if I was right. I only ever got the exterior glitch when I skipped the day before the villager was moving in with boxes, the day when the plot is SOLD and empty. As long as you play and save on the sold plot day, even if you are time traveling forward, the house will NOT glitch.

This probably happend because right after i told tex to leave i immediately regretted it and i dont remember what i did

I dont get it

Don't think it has been fixed yet so you can and definitely give it a shot! If I'm sure there would be threads about since I do know plenty of people that have used this to get villagers in the houses they want

I'm a little shocked they spent time needlessly changing the villager photo mechanics but a well known glitch like this still isn't fixed.
