Why is Merengue so popular?

Ok so I have her in my town. Initially, I wanted to have her since I was so curious why she is really popular. So, she has been in my town for like a week and I don't find anything special with her lol. Sometimes I do think she is ugly. Maybe I just have bad taste or something. Why do you guys like her?

I don't know, personally, I loved Queenie. I can't say I have a favorite. When it comes to citizens, I want the ones that suggest the Harmonious/Japanese themed projects, as opposed to the stupid ones like oil/drilling rigs.

It's not like there was a Merengue hate thread recently (I don't think so, at least.) but I think we're all tired of those threads whose sole purpose is to bash on a villager. (Taking out the lol might make this a better thread.)

A lot of people like her for her design I liked her when she moved in, but I ended up selling her because she just wasn't good for my town.

People don't have to read your thread if they don't like it I love her because she's sooooo adorable! My friend gave her to me, too, and I was thrilled! I like the normal villagers, too, and in this case, she is sweet... like her cakey self should be!

I love Merengue because, like a lot of other people have mentioned, she's a cake-themed rhino. She could be a cake-themed mantis and I'd still love her. Also, I really like her interior design. Unlike Marshal's place, which is kind of a dump..;;;
