Why is everyone so greedy?

I agree totally to this.
People feel they are entitled to things without putting in any effort or working towards it all the time.
And that is what is greedy.

I don't understand why people can't sell their villagers or items for a reasonable price and are so freaking greedy. I've been looking everywhere for Marshal and I can't find someone who will sell him to me for anything lower than 20mil.
This is partially why I don't like this form because of how greedy people are, but I continue to use it in hopes that someone has a heart somewhere and will be reasonable!

Most of the people on this site are NOT greedy, I've gotten Lolly, Rosie and a few other villagers for free. I had Marshal in my second town and I didn't like him so I gave him away for free to someone who had him as a dreamie. I always see raffles and giveaways for Marshal, so you just have to be patient to get him

Not everyone. There are PLENTY of very generous people in the TBT marketplace, in Re-Tail and in the Plaza who kindly give away items and villager. Maybe it's your attitude that doesn't attract them? Think about that for a bit.

However, you can find some great villagers that you can find on cycling thread, and they're underrated.
For example, MERRYMERRYMERRYMERRY and Katt are wonderful though underrated.

Marshal isn't the only squirrel villager in NL.I like Marshal but I like Filbert and Sheldon even better.And you can usually get those two guys for free.

Yeah, I don't see an issue if I decided to sell Marshal for 20 million bells or more.

That said, I gave away Beau for free recently, and Beau is the highest rated villager who ever landed in my town. And I have given away every other villager who has moved, including, but not limited to, Puck, Annabelle, and Tex.

It depends on who you talk to.
I've given Marshal, Merengue, Chrissy, Francine, Marina, Whitney x4, Lolly, Ankha x3, etc. away for free because why not? I have most of 'em myself and why not pass on the good luck. (Honestly, if you reset enough, you'll get 'em... Looking at you Whitney/Ankha.) I've sold a villager once or twice to fund a new town and buy my friend a villager. Maybe the people need bells to buy their own dreamies or home renovations or what have you. Yeah, sometimes it's ridiculously expensive, but that's just what happens when you want the "cream of the crop" villagers.

(though its hard, I reset about 200 times and I got all the smugs except for him)
