Well, after some extensive research on whether to buy Endless Ocean or No More Heroes, I finally decided to buy Endless Ocean. Your probably wondering why the *CEN-3.0-SORD* I bothered to buy this game instead of No More Heroes but it seems that Endless Ocean is my type of game; it offers a peaceful and relaxing experience.

No More Heroes looked great but I after doing some research, I inferred that the game was over hyped and I was right. The game had many positive and negative reviews but overall, the game looked quite boring which is why I ignored it.

However, Endless Ocean was also faced with both negative and positive reviews. I decided to buy it because

Um, although I don't plan on picking it up, I think NMH looks anything but boring.

But, I do agree with you that Endless Ocean looks like a good game. Perhaps I'll add it to my birthday list.

Negative reviews...? Yeah, one, from a satire site.

Only one review has been in the 7 territory, the rest have been 8s and 9s. Endless Ocean, on the other hand, has been getting 6s all over the place.

Why are you still accepting the opinion of over inflated mega sites like IGN? Too bad No More Heroes pwns the hell out of everything, it's baaaad.

Endless Ocean is way better than No More Heroes. It allows you to explore the wonders of the sea without having to worry about completing objectives.

Anything below 8.0 is considered a negative review in my opinion.

And from GamePro, a 2.5 out of 10...

"Endless Ocean's underwater atmosphere is soothing and relaxing but it lacks a crucial element: fun. [Feb 2008, p.84]"
I like fun.

Looks like this game is.....not fun.

I never said anything to the contrary. I'm just saying, you're acting like Endless Ocean got 10s on every major gaming site.

Both games are great, but saying NMH is dull while a game that offers no goals isn't...

I have to say, that I've had a chance to play BOTH games, and NMH PWNZ Endless Ocean. There is no fun element in EO, while NMH is all out action-y fun.

7 is NOT a bad score.
7 is a good score, damnit. Why can't people realize that? [/quote]
wow yeah really anything above 8 to me means you will like it almost no matter what at least to some degree (unless you are really stubborn or something), and anything above a 5 to me means that you should like it if you relate to the content or really enjoy something that is a major part of it, like in this game's case if you happen to really like the ocean.

under 8 is not bad though.
