Why don't my bridges show up when I talk to Isabelle about PWPs?

Is it because I already have 3 bridges? I'd like to replace them with fairytale bridges, but I don't even know if I have that option. Frustrating!

Yes, it's because you have 3 already. You'll have to demolish one of your bridges in order to replace it with a fairy tale bridge. Be REALLY careful though, because sometimes Isabelle will let houses and other buildings be built near bridges but not let you build bridges again when they're near buildings. I had this issue recently and it was incredibly frustrating >.<

I've read the horror stories, so I'm aware. I think you need a 4x4 section on each side to be free in order to place a bridge. I think I'm okay. I might have to take out a couple of smaller PWPs first, but I don't think any houses are in the way.

also make sure you have the bridge you want before destroying it, that would be a piss off if you didnt have it!

That's my problem. I can't see if I have it because it's not listing my bridge options. Ugh.

Others will have to confirm this but its possible you will not get any PWP requests from villagers for bridges while you have 3 in town - if this is the case (anyone confirm/reject it?) then you are going to have to delete one anyway.

I searched and found that same information elsewhere, so it may very well be true.

I've had 3 bridges almost the entire time I've played the game! Well, I'll wait until have an Uchi villager, then destroy one that I know can be rebuilt. Ugh.

Dealing with this right now. Very frustrating!
I have to wait for Al to move so I can put a new style bridge exactly where the old one was...
