Villagers are more likely to ping you when you're out of their sight and/if you don't talk to any villager for a certain period of time. Are you currently diving?

Hmm.. Well, you're not really talking to them from what you've described, and that can definitely do it and 5 times in an hour and a half isn't *surprisingly* a lot. If anything, the more pings, the better because of PWPs.

Maybe you're nearer to her than the other villagers when it's ping time.

Maybe ur right most of those times she was hiding behind trees lol. And before i even took my first step for today...she pinged me i hadn't even tooken a step yet lol

Some days the first villager ping of the day pings me a lot. So much that the other villagers don't have a chance to ping me.

I do make sure to talk to all the villagers to make sure no ones is trying to skip town.

I hardly ever get pinged at all. Maybe I don't talk to my villagers enough.

maybe it's due to a close friendship and the way pinging works. if you're far from your villagers but still outdoors for about 2-5 minutes, then come close to them, they usually ping you. the same villager might be pinging you more than the others because your friendship is higher.

the good part is, you'll get more PWPs!

I noticed that the villagers I talked the most pinged me more then those were I don't
talk much with them. So I guess it has something to do with the friendship of a villager.
I try to talk with all my villagers, just to know what's going, if someone need something
and so on.
