why does mapping your town have to be so tedious

I've been sitting on google sheets for ages mapping out my second town square by square, and thankfully it's a new town so there's not an awful lot to do, but then I have my main town to do... which has a lot in it...

why did I even decide to begin this...

I've had my town for almost 4 years and I'm still not done mapping everything out, I feel your pain lol.

I can't believe that there isn't a better way to design your map.

I truly can not believe after 4 years there still isn't a good way to plan.

I wish there was an app that would approximate your map based on the pic you can take from talking PWPs with Isabelle - at least you would get the river shape, the beach shape - and there are specific shapes for Town Tree and Train Station and the ponds which you can tell from that map - it would be a workable sketch - then you could perfect the map with specifics from that point

okay so I've now finished the map for my second town, I've yet to add PWPs in but I've not 100% planned any of them, but now I can start, I don't think I could bear to start the map for my main town today, or tomorrow... maybe wednesday...

I didn't plan my town and regretted it... ughghg i put the cafe in a horrible place and can't destroy it
