Why do you hate that one specific villager?

In ACNL, I hated Butch but he grew on me. He was rude at first, but the more we interacted the nicer he became. He ended up being one of my favorite villagers.

In ACNH, one of my new villagers that spawned was Sylvia and I can't stand her. She is just so rude, gets angry easily, and seems to get annoyed if I try to speak to her more than once. I know they all are meant to say something when you speak to them more than once but she genuinely seems to be annoyed based on her comments. I can't wait until she asks to move.

I hate Phoebe she was my starter and I just..she's an eyesore!! God not to mention her starter home is the wooooorst!! I even gave her a dress for her birthday and she never wore it she never changed her clothes at all and she was a total Reneigh copy cat! Ugh I was so happy to get rid of her!

I wouldn't say hate but I'm not a fan of the female kangaroos because of their creepy joeys.
I had Kitt in NL and couldn't stand her.
I think Marcie is actually pretty cute but I find the joeys so unsettling, which is probably why I'd never want a female kangaroo on my Island.

I dislike Pietro purely based on his design. I'm sorry but its just creepy!
And Apple omg... I already came into this game disliking peppys (couldn't stand them back in WW so I carried that over to NH) and ofc the game had to give me this fire colored hamster so early into the game (I ran out of NMTs to look for another sadly). I think its her intense face + the slightly obnoxious peppy dialogue that made me hate her and I couldn't wait until she left. She definitely ruined the hamsters for me.
But I have Ruby rn now and love her so I'm ok with peppys now I guess!

Mathilda. This goes back from the gamecube version. The snooties in previous games were way meaner, but I never EVER had a good experience with her. She would give me the cheapest stuff i.e. clothes after doing tedious long tasks for her. Like I remember them being more difficult ones like catching a specific rare fish, finding her a ball, picking up something they borrowed that kept getting borrowed by other villagers, and being super ungrateful.

It's just really weird seeing her being so nice in my gf's island cuz snooties overall have lightened up. It feels like running into an old bully that isn't a bully anymore. I still can't forgive her, lmao.

And next is Elvis, I saw him and Katt having a convo and it turned out she was just trying to help him avoid getting chased by wasps and he didn't accept any of her kind words or help and even spat back at her for even trying. Katt is like #1 on my don't u dare offend list. Elvis has gotta' go.

They both have mean looking appearances too. I just straight up hate 'em.

Deena moved in after tangy left in city folk and WOULD. NOT. LEAVE. I was like 10 and too dumb to figure out how to make tangy stay. I’m still bitter. Also Derwin because he gives me incel vibes

Some duck villager that moved into my town in NL. I THINK it was Molly but I honestly don't remember because I cut the game cold turkey after they moved into my town and at the worst place possible. I was incredibly mad.

Ugh I hate him too, moved into my open plot in NH when I was planning to island hop and it took forever to get him out, and when I finally did he took my cousin's open plot who I was planning to give Punchy to. He's an ugly jerk

agreed with the eyes thing. When I first got the game I was sure Judy wouldn't be popular since her design is so extra and then I got here and she's pretty much #2 in every list

Kay, so I don’t want to use the word “hate” exactly to describe my irrational disdain for a fictional rhino with a leaf on his head, buuuut...I absolutely can’t stand Tank.

Dunno why exactly. He isn’t ugly or anything and he’s usually a well-liked jock, from what I’ve seen. But my god, I can’t bear him. He haunts me. I’ve had him appear in my town in every Animal Crossing game I played. He moved into my town in Wild World, City Folk and New Leaf. And I had the hardest time moving him out, let me tell you.
I’ve got my fingers crossed that he never moves in my island on ACNH. But just like starting off with pears, Tank crashing my town is just a tradition I can’t shake at this point...I’m just going to hoard NMT so I can island hop whenever I get an open plot. I don’t want the RNG screwing me over with Tank.

I don't enjoy Broccolo. It's just his face and he has that classic bowl cut bangs. Maybe I don't enjoy creatures with simple faces but right off the bat, I knew he was going to irritate me, lol.

I don't hate him, but if I see in the background, my initial reaction is, "there's that little dweeb"

I have an irrational dislike for Robin and Rod because I kept getting them in my towns circa Wild World/City Folk. Same with Curly. Also have ancient beef with Amelia for being so rude in the game cube days, lol.

New Horizons is my first AC game and having known very little about the series beforehand, I was perfectly happy to let random villagers move in... until Rasher. He didn’t really do anything, but my goodness he’s terrifying! Especially that thing he does with his eyes when he smiles or laughs... yeesh. I couldn’t stand seeing him and that sent me into the spiral of making dreamies lists and looking up how to get villagers to move out (back when people thought ignoring them worked). I think I saw a tweet that says Rasher smashes bottles in alleys for fun, which sounds accurate! One time I built a fence around his house and just seeing him standing helpless in front of his house smiling was hilarious. Anyway I finally got him to move out using an Amiibo, which was so satisfying. Also he’s apparently one of Katsuya Eguchi’s favorite villagers, which... LOL

I despise Bud because in NL I wanted my house in a separate area from the villagers and he moved his house right next to mine. I still have a grudge.
Barold I dislike because I couldn't get him to leave my island for the longest time and I hate his design so much. Being ugly is one thing but he looks like a creeper.

In acnl it was Rasher the cranky pig, I was ok with him moving in as my 9th villager, but after a while he started harassing my other villagers and making them angry and sad. He then started to creep me out a lot and I was stupid enough that time to hit him with a net, hammer, pit falling him and pushing him to the extent (I didn’t do it anymore after he moved out). I was really happy when he moved out. Now I don’t dislike him as much as before, but I still don’t want him, if he moves in my NH island, I won’t hit him or do any bad stuff anymore, I’ll just talk or ignore him. I find it bad to hit villagers with nets and hammers, I just find it wrong now especially what’s going on in NH. If I have a villager I dislike moving in, i’ll end up talking to them until they ask to move regardless or ignore them. I’m sorry if this is a bit long. I don’t really have anyone I hate in NH, I'm ok with what I have so far.

CHOPS. He refused to leave my NL town and it drove my sister and I nuts! And he wore such an ugly stained shirt, upset my other villagers and placed his house in the worst spot! Not to mention I hate his colour scheme and general look D: I fear he will be a random move in in my NH town and will be the same....

Sheldon, because he was a random move in, which wouldn’t be a big deal....buuuut he murdered part of my rare fruit orchard in NL, I never disliked a character more then him at that point.
