Why do Uchis get so happy?

Every time I agree to buy/trade items from/with Phoebe, she does the little singing animation as she walks as if she is the happiest little Phoenix around. I'm pretty certain all Uchis do this, but does anybody know exactly why they get so happy? I feel like that would be better for Peppy villagers.

They do come from poor families. Have you noticed how they act tomboyish? There is more of a deep backstory to that... if you want to hear it.

It is not really confirmed but I'll tell anyway.
You know how Uchi's always act Tomboyish? The main character of our story today,will be Deirdre.
Deirdre is from a poor family. Her mother washes clothes for their neigbours as a living,while her father fixes old,worn out shoes. Their jobs are not dependable source of income,so sometimes they do not eat at all. They do not buy things like toys,jewelry,furniture, because they cannot afford them.
Deirdre is the eldest of 4 children. The younger children usually get bullied by other kids,due to the fact that their family is poor.Since Deirdre is the eldest,and they have no older brother to protect them,Deirdre decided to act like the 'big brother' of the family,protecting her siblings and taking part time jobs anywhere.Which lead her to acting more boyish and less feminine. When somebody gives her free items, she smiles because she was not used to having items for free. Nor even having items at all.
So when Uchis buy from you,always give them a freebie.

When touring my house, she will often tell me she dreams of having the money to live in that kind of place. It makes me no longer mad when they rip me off with a fake painting. I knew the risks and it doesn't hurt me financially.

Funny thing is...smugs can also sell you paintings......for over 7000 bells! Hans has sold me 10.....but he changed his mind about the price and gave them to me for FREE everytime...and they were all REAL!

Yes. Deirdre told me that Zucker hurt her feelings because he said that she dies not have enough furniture,because she can't afford them. I love how Nintendo adds mystery to some dialouges. Its like a hint.

I always give her whatever item she wants for free, then she begins to cry, tells me I'm the best and then does that little dance. I found it weird none of my other villagers did this (or had the option of giving a freebie), but I admit it hadn't crossed my mind this would be the reason (even though she has also mentioned not having enough money to buy furniture).
