Why do they have to be jerks?

So I made a second town today, called TeaCup and I have noticed that (even in my other town Fruitly) villagers are jerks and put their houses right in front of town hall. I mean I guess it's my fault because I didn't lay down a path or anything, but still...all that space and they choose that one? It makes so sense.

This is something I hate with a passion.
Usually, I somehow have villagers plot there as well.

Well you can't blame them, the spawning is random, and guess luck didn't choose you, but next time make sure to put paths where you don't want think, when you think someone will move in, but don't worry I've had villagers plot in areas I don't want them too, like on literally put their house right next to the cafe, when I was going to put my Police Station there, which is why I hate Tiffany. The only reason why I let her stay in my town is because my sister likes her. And I made Willow move out, which is my sister's favorite villager, so that's kind of karma for me.

Luck? I had a town 95% of the time people moved there or by the town tree. Very frustrating.

my villagers have had plenty of space before and they put their houses on my clover path. it's happened twice but i've managed
to work through it ...by adding more clovers. luckily the rest are in fine places and i've got all the villagers i want now so this isn't going to occur again

Ooh dear, I had one town like that. Every single villager that moved in seemed to flock to the Town Hall. I couldn't deal with it and reset that town out of pure frustration. But now with them not moving on top of paths, it's a bit easier to keep them out of areas you don't want them in. Good luck!

I hate when they do that!!!! Luckily now with the amiibo cards it's a bit easier to kick them out.
