Am I the only one who does not like Chuggaconroy? I don't watch his videos because I'm afraid it might ruin the game for me, because I'd know too much about the game.

i played wwww (wwell an emulator) and i saww screenshots. on tumblr, evveryone wwas playin it and it looked so much better and i finally got it for my birthday last year (dec. 20)

I wanted to get a 3DS for Pokemon X and Y so a couple of months before the game came out, I started looking at the kind of deals that were around. I asked at a store how much it was for a 3DS and they said I could get an XL and Animal Crossing for a good price. I remembered playing Wild World and really enjoying it so I decided to just go for it.

Let's just say that I got a lot more use out of Animal Crossing than Pokemon, though I did really enjoy that game too

I played WW and when I knew there was going to be a 3ds version of AC, I bought a 3ds almost a year before the game came out. I would search on-line for any info on the new AC. When the JP "Let's Plays" of it started on YouTube, I couldn't get enough. Lin & Koehi, Mayor Joshy and the rest. I just couldn't wait for the next one to be uploaded. I even bought 3 Japanese AC books, even though I can’t read Japanese.

Almost similar with me. I got so stressed out during the first 2 months of me back home and fortunately I get known of this game call Animal Crossing and it really cheer me up~ for temporary lol...still good tho~

I started playing Wild World in 1st grade, and instantly fell in love with the game. I got City Folk but didn't like the controls very much, and when I saw all the AMAZING feature of New Leaf I bought the game and used my brother's 3DS. i was a little embarrassed at first since I'm 15, but it is just the best game, even if my family makes fun of me obsessively playing it!

My boyfriend let me make a character in his town. I loved it and hardly let him have it back after that. He told me I'd better get my own. x3

I had a lot of friends saying it was really fun and I watched a few videos of game play and it looked fantastic! Also, I've always really wanted to play animal crossing! When I was younger I wasn't allowed to play video games much so this was a good opportunity for me to finally play an animal crossing game ^-^%

I bought the game when it first came out since my friends were getting it and they all wanted me to get it as well. I really had no interest in it but once I started playing I got addicted xD!

I loved Wild World and had a town for a long time on City Folk. One day I was looking up something random and I saw a trailer for New Leaf, and three years later I got it a few days after release. ^u^
It's a loonngg story of how I found Animal Crossing in the first place though...

I actually heard some rumors about a new Animal Crossing game in 2012 and I thought hmm.. maybe I'll buy that soon. But when I saw like EVERYTHING Animal Crossing New Leaf for my suggestions on Youtube on June 9th, I'm like: "It's out now!?" and told my mom all about it. I had absolutely no money on me, and no 3ds. I waited till Christmas, opened my gifts, and it was probably the best Christmas for me <3

I saw an advert and I was like 'it looks cool but I don't have a 3DS' and so I wanted to ask my dad to buy one for me. I was too scared though because 1) He's a very typical Asian dad, you know like looking down on you for spending money on unnecessary things and 2) I was 17 at the time and I should have at least a part time job by now.

Nevertheless my dad just came home with one and gave me it lol, don't know if he heard me talk about it but honestly it was a nice gift to me. Then my sister found out about AC:NL and pestered me about it for weeks. I had enough money so I bought it and kept it secret from my sister, because let's face it; would you ever share your hard earned village with a younger sibling?

TL;DR: Dad got me a 3DS and I bought one, with it being my first game on the 3DS

I thought it looked like a game for babies, but I watched Zackscottgames play it on youtube and realized I really like watching him play it, so I should play it too.
