Also, to anyone who thinks that Brawl has lost its touch over time, try playing with custom textures, music, stages, and characters. It really helps the replayability. We can't discuss how to do such things on TBT, though, so if you're interested, PM me.
Yeah, I've been playing a lot more Brawl by using those custom features.
Tried it sometimes.
Still playing alot.

Just to tell you all brawl did not die, brawl only died at TBT lol This was my first website to meet new people and play brawl and then brawl just died... So I go on another website though... And whoever still likes brawl and wants to play it competively here is the link www.brawldomain.com

Because the online sucks so badly, I only play with close friends and offline.

Especially considering you can only play with four people at a time, and with max amount, the game lags like no other. Why can't you play with 16 people fine like you can in other games, or more...? Nintendo definitely is not the best online game company.

Because Brawl isn't meant to be a 16-player game? You'd never fit 16 characters in a Brawl stage, except maybe Temple and New Pork City, and that's pushing it, lol.

For the same reason no one plays Animal Crossing anymore. Nintendo hasn't been able to create long-lasting online multiplayer with appeal.
Mario Kart Wii says hi.
Hackers say hi.
Are hackers really that prominent on Mario Kart Wii? I've never even encountered one.
Like 4/5 times I play a Worldwide race I encounter a hacker.Plus, sadly, they ruined the time trial leader boards, since usually the 1st place person in the world on a track is a hacker.

Competitive players also killed it.
Ugh, I hate it when people have to play competitively. I absolutely hate the idea of banning items and certain stages. That's just stripping down the game experience!

Brawlers have either moved on to another site for brawling, or quit brawl.

>_> 98% of TBT prefers the casual side of Brawl anyway.

That's when you make bigger stages.

What the *censored.3.0* is the hardcore side of Brawl then?

To me, it's the competition that makes it fun though. Don't get me wrong I like goofing off with items on high, or exploding items only, but competing against someone my skill level without items is just more fun for me.

Because the game was trash. It really shouldn't have ever been made. The people that played it online for more than a week are just people that suck at other competitive online game. The Smash Bros. franchise is dead.
