Why can't I have room for a few more villagers?

So I like all of my villagers. But there are two villagers that I really want; Tangy and Rosie. But I can't have them in my town because I have all of my dreamies. And I don't really want to get rid of any of them, especially not Biskit, Bam, or Marshal.

Buy a second copy. I know quite a few people (myself included) who have multiple copies for this exact reason. Still, I do think they should raise the villager cap in the next title. There's plenty of room, after all.
