Why aren't my blue roses multiplying

I bought a couple of blue roses from others a week and a half, maybe 2 weeks ago, and everyday I've been burying fertilizer next to them, but so far I'm still at my original number and have only grown 2 reds (possibly hybrids?)
What gives? A few years ago when I played my blue roses grew just as fast as any other flowers, and they were paid for then, too

I've had that problem before lol just keep trying. It's going to work eventually, you just need patience, especially with blue roses.

I hope they weren't hacked flowers, because I heard that those cannot produce hybrids. If they weren't, then you might just be unlucky Getting blue flowers from hybrid reds took me almost two months, but getting my third from 2 blue roses was easy with fertilizer plus watering them before I slept.. Hope you can get you blue roses!

I wasn't aware they could be hacked. I hope not because that means the people I got them from either hacked them or got them from hackers, or got them from people who got them from hackers, ad infinitum

Do you have a lot of other flowers in town?
I had this problem but then I made only a few flowers and blue roses the main pair to breed and took off beautiful ordinance so villagers don't water other stuff. If you water tons of other flowers the chance of it spawning is much lower.

That's all I can think to try. That and remember diagonal watering works best this game.

I don't know if the rumor about hacked flowers being unable to reproduce is true, but I had a similar issue with some blue roses that were gifted to me in my recent town. I never grew a single blue rose for weeks, and then when I gave up and bought several more to breed those, they reproduced nearly one a day. So there may be some truth to it.

As most say above, water and fertilize. I usually arrange in a diamond shape with Jacobs ladders on the side and fertilizer in the middle. In my experience they breed without problems like any flower and I even get up to 6 flowers a day. if your not getting any blue at all then sorry to say but there probably hacked. you shouldn't have much trouble at all if you follow the above. also water no more than 6 pairs a day or your chances of breeding is low as other flowers have a chance as well.

It's true that hacked hybrids are unable to produce more hybrids. All they can produce is common flowers.

Legit blue roses should only produce more blue roses (and very easily too) so it seems to me that the ones you were given are hacked. I suggest buying another pair off someone else to see if you have better luck with it.

This is why I'm against buying hybrids, as you can never tell if they're hacked or not. Either buy them from a reliable source (aka someone who actually has experience breeding blue roses) or breed the blue roses yourself. It isn't that hard.

I'm not sure if blue roses can produce hybrid common flowers, but I think it's hacked if you can't make any at all. I think the biggest sign of a blue rose being hacked is when they can only produce white roses. I'm pretty sure I've had hybrid red roses and blue roses come out but I might be wrong.

I finally had one grow after watering in addition to fertilizer, so maybe that was it and I may not need them. But thank you for the offer
