I play everyday, (possibly too much) and yet I've only had 4 campers in my 59 days of playing... Can anyone enlighten me on this strange happening?

The RNG Deities do not favor you, that is all.

I'm sorry, my campsite spends longer empty than full as well.
I'm pretty sure I went almost a month without seeing any campers (let alone ones I liked), but I'm not very good at keeping track of days, so I try not to think about it and focus on the villagers I already have.

I did edit to elaborate, but yeah - sorry :)
I hope that next time you see a camper you like, that you have space for him/her ^_^

Well, the main reasons I want to have villagers come to my campsite is to see new faces, and possibly find someone interesting or lovable, lol

Well, I do have a villager moving out on the first, so hopefully no one amazing comes before that, but knowing my luck with the campsite, probably not...

*nodnodnod* That's what I do, too!
I let 2 villagers move out hoping that it'd increase the likelihood of campers appearing, but it didn't! No campers at all though, so I ended up with a new plot a day or so later.
Turned out to be Rasher. I didn't think I'd like him, but he was great!
Then I let him move so I could see some new faces once more.

Yeah, I kind of do the same thing so that I can have new experiences. However, I am a very sentimental person, so I tend to have villagers grow on me, thus making it infuriatingly painful to let them go. ;w; For example, Hippeux. I thought I would hate him at first, but then he grew on me and I ended up loving him... Now he can never leave...

You should get a villager once a week. (At least, that's what happens in both of my towns)

You have a small chance everyday to get a villager in your campsite. It seems to be completely random who shows up in there too as I have had multiple villagers show up on consecutive days. Sometimes you'll go through long stretches where there isn't anyone. Don't worry there will eventually be one :)

>_< I'm pretty sure that they are all random.
I think the average chance is that there will be at least one showing up in a week.
Or if you'd like to do the campsite reset trick, but the chances of getting one changes. For example, you may get 0 in 20 attempts on one day and 3 in 13 tries

I think campers showing up is a random occurrence. I time travel a lot, but whenever I check out my campsite I usually don't find any campers. Sometimes I'm lucky though and I'll get two different campers the same week I'm time travelling in.

I went almost 2 months without any camper even though a 10th villager had moved out and then a 9th villager moved out. So I was down to only 8 for a week or two before a camper finally showed up. Must just be luck.

I heard that TTing cuts way back on the occurance of campers. I stopped TTing and I did notice an increase in the number of campers in my town. I also recently got Katrina to open her shop. I got the Tingle hood from her (reputed to increase luck) and that may also have something to do with the increase in campers. Recently I have had lots of campers - almost one every other day!

Well, I don't TT in my main town, only in my cycling town.
