Who's your peppy?

I have Audie, she’s the first one I found while island hopping that I liked and have liked her ever since. Since you are looking for suggestions to replace Audie, I went to an island yesterday to water their flowers and they had Chrissy. She was one of my starters in New Leaf and is still one of my residents. After seeing her on the island, I actually miss her and might move her in if I find her in the campsite. She’s really cute and her design matches the personality.

Long live the red-eyed bunny, Dotty. I like bunnies and feel like they fit the peppy personality best. Plus I'm going for more natural fur colors on my island so she was an obvious choice!

My favorite peppy villager has to be Tangy! I usually enjoy the cats in this game but Tangy is something else. The coolest part about her is the fact she is a fruit. I also saw some memes that show Tangy saying some weird things sometimes (I don't believe any other villager says stuff like her)

Who's your peppy and why did you pick them? I'd love to hear why! It'll be nice to see screenshots and hear stories about each villager rather than staring at the AC wiki for days trying to pick one out.

I'd also be interested in hearing any suggestions you may have for me based on who my current villagers are!

Bonbon was my starting peppy. I didn't realize if I didn't go on tours I'd get randomly assigned a peppy that first day, so the plot was randomly sold to her. At first I was a little meh on her but the peppy personality really suits her and she's grown on me a lot.

I also got Carmen as a campsite villager and decided to let her move in, hoping she'd kick one of the jocks out since there was a 30% chance she'd pick a jock (she kicked Filbert instead, sigh). I didn't think to try to reset. I do like her, but I like Bonbon's face a bit more--either something about Carmen's eyes or her nose isn't quite doing it for me.

I loved Cheri in NL, she's so smol and the pink cub thing really worked as peppy. I had Merry, too, but I couldn't stand her. Didn't find her cute and hated the "mewing" of her doing the town song (but cats are probably my least favorite species in the game, I only like *maybe* a third of them).

I have Bunnie, I recently reset my island and decided I wanted a bunny on my island... I was going to take the first peppy bunny I encountered, but she was my top pick! I love that she's based off of the bunnies people make out of apple slices, she's just so adorable (also think she may tie with deirdre for my favorite villager)

i have apple currently and shes amazing. I hated her when she first moved in but she quickly became one of my fav Villagers in the series. Was my first best friend in the game and always giving me clothes. She sings and zooms a lot but i kind of want a goofier peppy if that makes sense, and hamsters are super hard to dress bc of how smol and round they are.

so ill most likely be moving her out for winnie who i never see get mentioned and shes so cute!!! the star on her forehead

Also my sister had her in her New Leaf town and winnie tried to sell her a carpet and my sister said no, winnie said she was doomed to be a carpet hoarder, cried, and then moped around town the whole rest of the day LOL

although i do also have the amiibos for gabi, pippy, and dotty and im heavily considering all three of them as well, as im a huge sucker for the bunnies

I know the anteaters aren't everyone's favourites, but I love them! Her colour scheme is so pretty too. Her name also features in one of my favourite poems: Anabelle Lee by Edgar Allen Poe. I may have invited her mainly based on that last point.

How can people not love anteaters with those big noses and FLOOFY tails?!

Ruby is my favorite peppy. She looks different and I like her backstory. She is also so sweet.
Then I have Audie. I also like her story and she is pretty cool looking. Last but not least is Rosie. She was in mine gamecube so I have memories with her. And I LOVE cats!

I struggle with this because im currently planning on Rosie, but I really want my peppy to be a species I don't have. Given I'm set on Ankha, idk if getting her too would be good as I already feel meh about her. But then all the peppies I like aesthetically are species I already have ;-;
