Who's your favorite villager (personality wise)?

I heard that a few people found the personalities of the Tier 1 villagers a little bland and opt for more interesting ones.

What do you mean by saying "personality wise"? A villager that you like because of both appearance and personality? Mmmmh...Sally is my ultimate fav but I prefer uchis and smugs soooo perhaps Katt and W. Link?

Appearance doesn't matter - it could be a villager who was just ok in your book but grew on you because of their personality i guess (for me, it was Tom; my first and only cranky villager haha)

i love the cranky and lazy villagers.
my #1 is rasher and my close second is marcel. i finally got little marcel in my town and im so happy he's so adorable in game i wanna cry.


i also really love ganon and boris in the new update! and raddle is cute too. <3 a a a so many lovely villagers.

idk man i'm just in love with julia. i read about her on the AC Wiki and she was an exclusive villager to the Animal Forest e+ game, a Japan-only remastered version of the GC game and could only be obtained by scanning her e-card (basically an amiibo card lol) and she would live on your island. I loved her vibrant colors and she just seemed really cool, and I was delighted when she came to NL through the new amiibo cards. I bought 9 packs just to get her (and Paolo). I love her sophisticated, somewhat snobbish personality and just everything about her is precious.

Uhh I've never really hated a character based on appearance but liked them based on personality since... well all the characters of one personality act the same lol so based solely on personality I like the uchis best. Too bad they're all so ugly though... but if they bring back the sass and personality the snootys/crankies had in the old games then they'd prob be my number ones again lol

I think normals have rly cute designs overall but they're so bland.....

Hans and Katt~ I found them not-so-appealing at first because just ehh--- but Smugs and Uchis ended up being some of my most favorite personalities. Hans ESPECIALLY. I hadn't spoken to him much (mostly because he was in the museum or at the beach a lot when I wasn't) so I got the neglected villager dialogue where they start telling you personal things and saying they really want to be friends--- my heart melted and I still love the big guy even though he moved out over a year ago.

Honestly I feel like unless you never get the friendship dialogue with a character, any of them can grow on you-- at least, that's how it is for me! BUT I definitely have my aesthetic AND personality favorites. There's not much villager-unique dialogue, so it generally comes down to your favorite designs for your favorite personalities~ <3 Gahhh I just freaking love them all~

crancky is my favorite personality and my favorite species is pig so my number 1 is rasher ^_^
I have had him on ww and acgc but not on nl sadly
