Uchi - i would say aesthetically Fuchsia, but Pashmina is in my town now and i like her a lot! i'm keeping her
Snooty - Judy!! i do love Whitney as well though - i moved Freya into my town from an island, i have come to love her and seeing her with Skye together in my town makes me happy
Normal - i would say Merengue, but Skye moved into my town on her own and i love her a lot and am keeping her
Peppy - tie between Rosie and Apple! i have to mention Cookie as well she is so cute and i wish i had an extra space for her

omg sherb, dom, and judy are my 3 faves of the new villagers, i want them all on my island so bad so i've been island hopping for them! "any of the wolves" is an amazing answer, one of my NL towns has had fang in it for years and i have chief on my island right now and he's constantly singing and i just love him lol. honestly every single one of these are great choices, there's not a one on your list that i don't love!

Normal - Mitzi! Her facial expressions are absolutely ridiculous, I LOVE it.

Jock - Teddy, easily. Probably the only jock I like besides Samson. He was a random move in on GC and ever since I first met him, I fell in love with him <3. Then I remember being totally heartbroken when he moved to my other memory card :')

Peppy - It's hard to say, since I never really liked the peppy villagers much until NH (they seem more interesting this time around). Puddles has such a cute face and funny expressions, but I got Sprinkle as a random move in in NH, and she's grown on me SO much. The way her voice sounds when she says "frappe" cracks me up every time.

Lazy - Bones is my baby. I treated him as if he were my actual dog back in Wild World lol. Nate is also SO precious. The celery unibrow and his dopey face ahhh <3

Smug - I'd have to go with Hans. Gorillas are criminally underrated and all the smugs rubbed me the wrong way except him. Plus he's so dashing in his plaid sweater.

Uchi - Tammy! I love her coloring, she's such a cute fun little cub. Out of all the uchis I had, I really clicked with her. Agnes is also really pretty and underrated. I love the darker colored villagers and she has the prettiest shade of black. She really stands out.

Snooty - Kitty & Olivia! They both look so classy. I love Olivia's coloring with the splashes of maroon, and Kitty's eyeshadow is always on point. I'd love to have them in a town together.

Cranky - R O L F. Without question. Though there a million crankies I adore, there's something about Rolf that really got me. I love white bengal tigers, they're so unique and beautiful. With tigers being on the endangered species list, they're found less & less in the wild, the white ones especially, so seeing him as the one and only one of his kind in Animal Crossing adds a special level of attachment for me. Plus he looks so fluffy (his head is H U G E) and has the funniest face with his pink tongue hanging out of his mouth all the time lol. He's just so fun and a really special addition to any town.

Honorable mentions, since crankies are my favorite and there's too many I love: Butch, Wolfgang, Buzz, Gaston, Vladimir, and Spike <3

[Sheep Villager]

This might be a good exercise to do since I don't even know where to begin on who I want for my island. I think I'd just be content having Pietro and some generally nice villagers.

That said...

Normal- Vesta... she looks so distinct with her tiny glowy eyes. I have to give a honorary mention to Marcie though. She was one of my first animals in my first game and I never was able to let her go.

Peppy- I think I have a soft spot for Bella. Not the best looking villager but I somehow ended up liking her a ton in Happy Home Designer of all games! She has such punk vibes!

Uchi- Tammy! Such vibrant colours. I also loved her default outfit in New Leaf. Somehow it added to her personality.

Snooty- Bree. Mouse villagers are cute and green hair in general is cool. Two awesome things packed in to one character.

Cranky- Walt. Male kangaroos are rare and he just looks like a cranky old man.

Jock- Antonio or Kevin. Bam is also really nice. I genuinely can't pick. They all have their own perks. Jocks are very hit or miss for me outside of these three.

Lazy- Marcel, definitely. This list has already helped me out. I might have to add him to my dreamies list. Can't resist having a mime to go along with Pietro. Speaking of...

Smug- Pietro. Hands down. Can't wait until I somehow get him on my island. I had him in New Leaf and I already miss him. I guess I'll give a honorary mention to Klaus and Hans.

I hope everyone on here ends up getting all the villagers they want, eventually!​

aww, i know jocks can have a bit of an annoying personality but i think there are plenty of cute ones in there! that's valid though, i don't like gorillas myself but boone isn't bad. frita & wendy are great though, sheeps are one of my favorite species in AC! and ankha has such a fun design.

I like a lot of cats. lol Gonzo is just funny to me, just an angry Koala, Cobb and Tabby are nostalgic from OG gamecube days, Lolly has been with me in City Folk, New Leaf and I brought her along for New Horizons, Punchy, Bob, and Olivia I just really love how they look (I love all the cats) and Bob is in my NH game now and then Curlos (Rasta Sheep) and Muffy (Goth Sheep) were in New Leaf and I liked them a bit. lol

ooh those are all some pretty good reasons!! my first game was new leaf and i didn't keep my first town but i'm sure if i'd been playing since the gamecube days i'd grow super attached to my first villagers too. gotta admit that 5 seconds ago i didn't care for gonzo but now when i look at him you're right, he is funny and now i think he's cute lol. olivia is super cute and far too underrated and also, you have fantastic taste in lazies!

think you made a mistake somewhere because punchy is definitely a lazy and not a jock LOL, i think the only sport he'd participate in would be if constantly sleeping under all the trees on my island counts as a sport... he is the best though!! all these villagers are pretty great, audie and fauna are way too cute.

lolly and skye are absolutely adorable!! i used to think whitney's design was plain for some reason but i actually love her now, same with marshal. and i had zell in new leaf for SO long, he has such a cool design.

edit: i just noticed you mentioned beau so i have to say he's awesome too!! my gf has him and the other day i visited her island to celebrate his birthday along with another friend, we both gave him different shirts and according to her he keeps switching between them and looks really cute in them. none of my villagers have had birthdays yet so beau's was the first one i celebrated in NH!
