who's the most interesting/uncommon/most popular villager you've seen on a mystery island?

I found bob once.... didn't take him... i found coco later and took her.
I also found bianca twice in a row and she's pretty and I wouldn't've left her had i not been so hellbent on trying to find pietro. (i never did find him tho rip)

I found Judy (very popular) on my fifth NMT once but was only looking for dreamies. I'd feel selfish about taking her because I'd probably only want to sell her haha

Penelope was a villager I never would have considered having in my town, but I found her on a mystery island a few months ago and fell in love with her design. I really like that she’s the only mouse that doesn’t have ears, and instead has a large, pink bow. I also like her buck teeth. Mice are one of the least popular species, but I think she’s super cute and now she’s my favorite peppy villager. It’s kinda weird that her fur is green, but I think it adds to her charm.

She’s also one of the easiest villagers in my town to dress up, and she looks good in everything I’ve given her.

Oh yeah... and I hate it when i see people take popular villagers like that just bc they're popular. i mean u can get a ton of bells but why waste the time

though i myself kinda hate judy she's just weird looking to me. looks more like a 5 year old child than i snooty cub (and i believe snooty types are supposed to be about 30 y/o lol)

Mice are interesting.... I had limberg at my campsite one and almost died of fear. then i got bree and i really wanted her but she wanted to trade with coco for whatever reason

I found Marshal, Merengue, Lolly, Marina, and Sherb (so many times I thought he was haunting me lol). I took all the M’s as residents, tho not for that reason

The most popular villagers I've found are Sherb who I found once and Audie who I found a couple times, I didn't take either of them.

The most popular villager I've seen on a mystery island is either Julian, Marshal or Sherb. Not sure which one's the most popular right now, but all 3 were invited on my island. Currently, Marshal and Sherb are still on my island.

I guess in terms of uncommon, any cat is pretty rare and I did get Bob while island hopping.

The most popular villager I've ever run into was Raymond! I wasn't looking for him and I was so surprised when I found him on a hunt.

Other rare ones were Audie and Sherb! I took Sherb, but didn't take Audie which I regretted for a while.

On my most recent island hop, I found Rosie on my second island and I took her since she’s one of my favorites. The island hop session before this one, I found Sherb and took him. I’m pretty sure I’ve skipped him before I started to like him.

In past Island hops, I’ve seen Dom but skipped him (had no clue he was popular, though wouldn’t have taken him until now; now I’d take him so I can get his picture and get to know someone new).

I’ve seen Marina so many times but skipped her. A lot of the wolves - Whitney, Fang, maybe Wolfgang.

I found lily when I started playing the game; she was one of my first four villagers. I found Merry as maybe my sixth villager.

I might have seen Audie too.

The ones that were hard passes were Tom, Peanut, Pudge, Spike - don’t have his amiibo card so his was the hardest pass even though I found Sherb on my thirteenth or so ticket.

Popular ones I’ve found are Diana (8 nmts), Raymond (2 nmts), Bob (I encountered him twice!), Whitney, Merengue and Sherb.

It’s always exciting going on islands but omg I cannot count how many times I’ve seen Patty or the Octopi.

been to roughly 100 islands so far and i've come across merengue, sherb, audie, rosie, zucker (like three times), octavian (also like three times), raymond (twice) and fang off the top of my head. skipped all of 'em lol.

I recently went on a ticket burning spree just to see if I could find a snooty villager I liked. (spoiler: I did not)

Found Fauna, Zucker, Teddy, and some of my favorites from older towns like Wolfgang, Rocco, Rasher and Samson. Think the most notable find for me was Ketchup - she's cute and unique, likely among my favorite peppies

I found Dom on a mystery island once without even trying. I want Sprocket as my jock so I just left him there.

The most popular villager i've had on a mystery island, hmm... i'm honestly not sure who that would be. I'd say its between Audie and Dom, since they seem to be the highest tier (referring to the old villager tier list). While Audie is known to be more popular, I feel like Dom is more wanted right now? Especially since I somehow managed to sell him for 800 TBT in like 5 minutes, so yeah i'd have to say Dom. As for the most uncommon/interesting villager, i'd say Pietro because he himself is such an enigma lol. I did invite him for a little bit, but later kicked him out because I just didn't really like his style, and ironically he got replaced by Dom, the happier and more popular rainbow sheep.

honestly, from mystery islands, the most popular one I came across was probably tangy 0: I had more popular ones visit through the campsite though, like coco, lucky, audie, skye, julian etc

I found Audie, Beau, Marshal (The second I kicked him out my dreamie list), Ankha, Rosie, Goldie, Merengue (I keep getting her! It's frustrating!), and Whitney.
Ankha, Audie and Marshal were veryyyyy tempting. I wouldn't have left them If I didn't have new leaf. But I'm happy I found them, I took lots of pictures <3
