I just can not get used to the name Black Friday. To me, that sounds like the day the stock market day would collapse or some other major disaster would happen.

It's a play on Black Monday, which is when the DOW Jones Industrial Average fell 23%. not good.

The Monday after the Holiday break was called Black Monday by English Schoolchildren, too.

And in 1360 on Easter Monday, some people died.

Also, in 1869, the stock market crashed on a Friday, A.K.A. Black Friday.

Don't believe me? Here's the proof.
