I am. I thought summer was pretty boring in NH overall. The beginnings of each month were most interesting because new things to catch, but otherwise it was mostly meh. I'm hoping fall is more interesting.
I'm looking forward to September both in real life and in game, because it means we're that much closer to October, my favorite month. Autumn is my favorite season, so I see a lot more appeal in the changes in grass and tree foliage colors, seasonal DIYs, and new creatures to catch after this overlong Summer.
Unfortunately, I play with a bit of a delay, so I won't be experiencing September for a little while yet. I've been a time traveler since the GameCube game days back in 2002, and between my desire to farm more wedding items in July and my desire to not outpace the game's patch and update method of adding new content and holidays, my island is currently a bit delayed and is still in early August rather than the end of it. I still need to find and capture the Golden Stag and Giraffe Stag, neither of which I have yet seen in New Horizons, before I can jump forward. Once I do though, I'll probably give myself a couple days' delay instead of weeks/a month's delay. Something about the standard day-to-day has always felt a bit too restrictive to me, so since I don't want to skip ahead and miss anything they add, being a few days behind and having the ability to switch to the next day if so desired seems the most optimal way to play for me personally.
Me! Like I feel this fall update is going to be the best yet. I’m excited. Im also excited for September too, my brother’s birthday is coming up soon which I’m happy about for him and I’m going to hang out with my sister and my best friend from my hometown soon so that’s awesome!
I really can’t wait for autumn both in game and real life. I’m not a fan of summer either. It’s just too hot. XD
But autumn is when Halloween is and Halloween is my shtick.
