I like them both thanks to @Hobowire always having spike in his avatar.I used to not give him a single thought but now he and his design has grown on me. I’ve had neither but I am interested in letting them stay at my town for a bit. I don’t think either are better than the other; maybe for each player. To me, I think I like them both roughly the same for now. I did vote for Spike though.

I mean I won't say no to tbt. Not a diss at Hobowire but truthfully, I'm guilty of liking Merengue better. Spike definitely has a nice design though. My question is where is Hornsby? He is cute as well.

Spike. Im not the biggest fan of Meringue since I really dont like the villagers that are too heavily themed after something else, hence I like Spike better

I feel like Spike and Merengue are too different from each other to accurately compare... But with that out of the way, I agree with the previous poster in that villagers themed off of something else, like food or a specific item, are a no go from me.

Spike is definitely the better rhino. I love his design sooo much that I actually want to include him in a secondary island/town as my resident cranky villager. I'd put him in my New Horizons town but I already have two crankies.

My next question then is this: which normal rhino is best, Merengue or Rhonda? I'd personally have to vouch for my girl Rhonda.
