They're actually alien clones. He slipped up and showed his true self that time.

I had a glitch once when on the boat with Kapp'n ... Up in the top right of the screen I could just see for a second or two another boat! It was like WHOAH! What is that!? And then it was gone ... Did I imagine it!? Has anyone else ever seen this?
