Hippeux. I did not care for him. I loved his house, though, and loved going in there and playing the piano. LOL
After I saw TagBackTV's thought bubble method, I used it to kick him out the next time I got a villager asking to move. I wish I had known back when Jay asked to move, I certainly would have preferred Hippeux to move, but some things are for the best, as it's already so hard for me to decide between the villagers I like anyway, and Jay I really did like, but I needed some space.

she just told me that's who she got, everyone else i know got a smug as their first campsite villager except her so that was weird
not polite to say this but maybe she means the camper after the forced one, I don't believe it's possible to get a villager personality other than smug

Mine was Eugene which isn't too bad, but he definitely didn't stay on my island.

i just asked and she said goldie again, probably just her game being all weird lol
I was told that you will only get smugs as ur first campsite villager but I got a cranky so I guess this isn't true

mine was marshal! i took years to get him in my acnl town, so it was a fantastic surprise <3 of course i kept him~
Really odd. Everyone was getting smugs near release date?
When did you start your island? Maybe an update changed this or something.
the forced one? The one you had to take no matter what?
