who should the 8th horse in my town be?

So I have a few (and by few I mean 7) horse villagers in my town right now... and since I want Ankha to leave, I'm like why not have my newest villager be a horse too. the only problem is I can't decide which one!!

The contenders are Victoria the peppy horse, Clyde the lazy horse, and Buck the jock horse. I don't like smug villagers so Ed and Colton are not options, and of the two lazies I don't have I prefer Clyde over Elmer.

[TD]Jock is my least favorite personality type of the three, but I don't have a Jock horse in my town, so there is a little more variety if he is the villager I choose. And I like his character design the most of the three probably. I don't really like the PWPs that jocks suggest though.[/TD]

I'm really having a hard time choosing one, so that's why I'm making a thread about it. Regardless of which one I choose, I will have two personalities of that type in my town, but they won't both be horses if I choose Buck.

But yeah please vote in the poll/comment what you think because at this point I'm very indecisive

I had Victoria as a camper once and even though I love peppies; of all of the peppy characters I've met, she probably was one of the most, if not the most annoying one (even though their dialogue is the same), idk why. Her outfit doesn't bother me since I'm used to seeing race horses wearing that (though, it doesn't make sense for her to wear the attire of a race horse if she isn't a jock <.< even though, I guess she could be a race horse but not by choice).

I love the lazy personality too. I have two right now and I want another one; I'd want another cranky too if I could. Recently, when I was starting to plan on what villagers I really want in my village; I noticed that all of the ones I wanted were peppy. I thought that even though I love the villager and their design, it would get pretty boring or annoying (or both) to hear the same dialogue from more than two of them. I thought that it'd be best to make my town more diverse (as in the personality types in it) even though I don't care much about the jocks, smugs, or uchis.

If the personality and appearance of the villager is not the most important thing to you, and that you'd want something to help make your town more colorful or "exciting" (like clash of conflicting personalities), I'd say go with Buck.

Having the two of them will also definitely increase your chance of getting a lazy personality pwp suggestion. As well, I place a lot of importance on the looks of villagers (since each villager of a certain type is essentially the same, the looks are what set them apart), and, considering that you don't like Victoria's design, I therefore think Clyde is a better option.

Actually WAIT hold that thought I just saw that Buck is your favorite design-wise! (I'm bad at reading oops) Then the real question is: how important is the lazy villager pwp suggestion frequency to you? Also, if Buck suggests something ugly, you could just ignore it!! I think you would appreciate Buck the most, since his personality would be fresh and his face would be cute.

Victoria was one of my original villager. For some reason, I start to grew of liking her. At that time of not knowing TT, I didn't notice that Victoria is moving away. I was sad that she is moving. Even if her mask may be ugly to you, I think Victoria is very cute once I look closely to her. Then again that is just me. Therefore you should pick Victoria.

Hmm then taking into consideration that you don't particularly like the jock personality and that you would like the extra chance at the pwp suggestions, I think you should go with Clyde! Plus, Clyde is pretty cute, I think. He reminds me of Cookie, somewhat

omg thank you!!! Words are a really cool thing to me and putting them together is kind of a hobby of mine I guess! so that's a very nice compliment *in-game blush emotion*

But I do think that your reply was also a valuable contribution, because, even if it is perceived as only a slight difference, it presents a different point of view and approach to the subject at hand. And that makes things more comprehensive ya know! Which I think is really good for decision making (considering all angles, I mean)

Also I wanted to say I have 2 crankies, as well, I think (Octavian and Rooney)
They are the absolute cutest!!
I also think I have 2 or more smug villagers (I'm bad at remembering) and at first I didn't particularly like their kind ("at first" referring to when I started playing a couple years ago) but they are so so cute tbh.. saying things like "We need more dancing" and then dancing with some stars and then saying "Shoom!" OR my favorite: "If I may be so bold, you are looking as cool as a fair number of cucumbers." (I probably got the wording a little off but yeah!!)

okay that's true........ and I was actually considering replacing Bam if I got Buck... but at the same time I've grown kind of fond of Bam after having him in my town for a while !!

omg hmm well Ankha isn't actually moving, yet, right? You could just think about it for a day or two !! ! Maybe while you're playing the game imagine having Buck or Clyde there in certain situations? Like uh hmm... who would you want clapping at the pwp completion ceremonies (and stuff like that)? Also maybe look into whose house would look better in your town! And maybe compare their catchphrases and house interiors. If you favor either of them because of those things, it would make it easier to choose, I think.

I would say it depends if you really want to keep your other jock. I have Clyde in one of my towns and really like him and think he's cute, but if you want a jock horse, the jock could be good. I don't really like jocks much either so I wouldn't want two jocks in a town.

Holiday, my Mary Poppins town. I wanted at least one horse there and I originally wanted it to be Victoria. I had her there for a while but I needed to build a bridge and her house was preventing it so she had to go. I like Clyde though
