I love musicals myself and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Which one would you say is your favorite? Have you seen any on stage?
My favorite of all time is rocky horror picture show which I was so lucky to go see while I was in America. It was the one when they show the film and act it out at the same time and that was the version I've always wanted to see. One of the happiest moments in my life.

I've also seen avenue Q on stage which I would love to go see it again. Shame they haven't made a film of it. :(

One I really want to go see is rent. If I do not see that before I die I will be one evil ghost. Dx

Oh I've also seen cats, Oliver and Greece.

Let me know what ones are worth seeing. :)

I was 5 when it came out and I remember all the girls in my class *coughs* including me *coughs* had a crush on Zac Efron

I haven't seen the Hairspray film all the way through, just small bits. I really enjoyed the musical, though.

I love them. I've even been in a bunch, back when I was in a performing arts school c:

My favorites are:
• Chicago
• Dreamgirls
• The Music Man
• Phantom of the Opera
• Hair

And recently, Aladdin has been turned into a musical! I saw it in November and it was AMAZINGGGGGG.

Oh cool. Chicago is one I would love to go see so you're so lucky.

Honestly, I don't like musicals because they're too much singing (even though that's the whole point). I just find it boring after a while IMO. :(

Wicked is my favorite.
But I also enjoyed legally blonde the musical and hsm.

Other musicals I have seen:
Mama Mia!
The Lion King
Les Miserables
Oliver
Hairspray
Phantom of the Opera

I hope to see more in the future.
Preferably live!

West side story is like my fav but there is also wicked and dream girls and rent and little shop of horrors and the wizard of oz and all shook up and into the woods and funny girl and Jesus Christ superstar and Oklahoma singing in the rain and moulin rouge and Chicago and hedwig and the angry inch and Annie get your gun and gypsy and les mis and cabaret and my fair lady and guys and dolls a chorus line and anything goes ad the boy from Ozawa nd evita I'm sure there are more that I've seen that I can't remember

My school just did Little Shop of Horrors, and we rocked it! So that's my favorite, lol.
we totally didnt forget to get the person controlling the plant out one time

As stupid as it sounds, I think some have too much random singing. XD

It's been a while since I listed the musicals I've seen on stage, so it might be an abbreviated list, and won't be in chronological order.

Annie
Oliver
The Producers
Spamalot
Les Miserables (and I plan on seeing it again later this year)
Wicked
Moonshadow
Phantom of the Opera
Singing in the Rain
Mary Poppins
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Avenue Q
Cats
Calamity Jane
Something's Afoot
Chicago
Cabaret
Grease
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Wizard of Oz
Me and My Girl
The Pyjama Game
Little Shop of Horrors
We Will Rock You

The list does go on.

To say I enjoy live musicals might be an understatement.
I have a touch of Broadwayitis - sufferer may burst into song at random.
Fortunately for me, half my family has it too ^_^

I don't know which is my favorite, but Phantom, Wicked and Les Miserables are up there.
Most shows, if given the opportunity (and requisite unlimited source of funds), I'd see again.
