Benjamin is the closest neighbor, he lives on the other side of the river.

Daisy is the closest to me, but still not obnoxiously close. There's 7 or 8 trees between us!

I have absolutely no neighbours. To the right of my town, there's a cluster of villagers (Hans, Rocco, and Greta who moved away). I guess the closest neighbour is Kody, who parked himself right below my Town Hall. Then, the rest of my villagers live below the river.

My neighbor in my main town is Pietro, and my neighbor in my all-bird town is Robin. I have two other towns but no one lives directly next to my mayors in those towns, instead being in front of or behind the mayor's house some distance away.

Two years ago, Colton lived to the right of me, then he moved ;-; Thanks to the new amiibo update, Anicotti has reclaimed that exact place which was empty for a while. Anicotti used to be one of my best friends until she moved last year...but I feel glad to have the amiibo card of her now! I hope to become best friends with the new Anicotti living next door :3

cheri once moved directly in front of my mayor's house so i had to get her out of there. my current neighbors are both marshal and ankha! they're behind my mayor's house. they're more each other's neighbors than my mayor's i guess, but they're the closest ones

I don't have any next-door neighbors, but Portia is pretty close, there's just a small orchard and a video screen in between our houses.
