I picked the three most famous classical composers. I just didn't want to make more than three options.

If you have another favorite classical composer, just click "Other", and post his name below.

Erik Satie. He's more of a New Age classical composer, but he's my favorite.

Oh, and of course Tchaikovsky and Debussy as well!

Frederic Chopin.

Love all three that you selected for the poll, though! Bach and Beethoven, of course! And the older I get, the more I like Mozart.

I don't have a favorite, but I can't get enough of Chopin's Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Op. 23.

I have to agree with you! I took a music appreciation class a few years back and fell in love with his music. Otherwise I really enjoy the work of Mozart.

People who have good taste in music.

I like a mix of classical and other music. Yesterday in music class the teacher let us see the piano. I was playing it and I was pretty good, cosidering I never touched a piano but that 1 time. Until a kid started hitting random keys. Music is my passion, as well a ac and TBT. :-)

Who the hell is Fredirick Chopin?

No.

Music is not your passion.

No.

Just because you don't know a certain composer doesn't mean that music can't be your passion. I don't know several artists but art is still my passion. We probably don't know of a lot of video games but video games are still our passions. What kind of logic is that?

Vivaldi..Handel..Bach..Beethoven.. lots of them for sure! I love classical music. Best study music of all timeee!

She said that she likes "a mix of classical and other music". That being said, Chopin is one of the most well-known classical music artists. If music is her "passion" and she likes classical music, she should absolutely know who Chopin is. To have never even heard of him? That's ridiculous. That's like saying grunge is your favorite genre of music and never having heard of Nirvana. -__-

I'm saying, I love music.

And at the same time, you have to remember lookyhooky is young and not educated like you are. In fifth grade I didn't mind classical music, and I had no idea about those composers, just Bach and Beethoven.

You can still like a genre of music without knowing a well known artist. There are no rules. There's always room to learn. Why should you tell someone they can't like something because they don't know all about it? That makes no sense.

Agreed.
