Who is the best (and worst) cub villagers and why? 🐼

I like Pekoe, June, Bluebear, Maple, Stitches... too many good cubs!

Pekoe is amazing. There's just something about her design and the way she is animated that makes her seem more like a real person than many of the villagers. Great facial expressions. Plus, I love her house. I just let her move away but she's probably the cub I've had longest.

I also had Judy a long time. I didn't think I'd like Judy but ended up finding her to be adorable. I don't like the wooden block set or pastels, so her house wasn't my favorite. I don't even like her design that much. But there was something about the snooty personality coming from that design--K.K. Lullaby and all--that really worked for me.

Maple is darling and I loved having her on my island. I would like to eventually find Bluebear and June. I wasn't fond of Cheri.

I've had both Pekoe and Poncho in my first New Leaf town, and I liked them both. I will always have fond memories of Pekoe due to our time together, and she just has a cute design. My favorite cub, however, is Pudge. He's just so adorable, and he's got a perfect look for a lazy villager.

There aren't any individual cubs that I dislike. However, I would feel a little weird about having a cranky cub. It's just a little too bizarre to see a baby bear talking like an old man.

Judy is the best by far imo, I really like how bright she is and how she sticks out.
Judy is soooo cute dude, I really want her on my island, but I already have Francine, and Ankha. Not that it’s easy to get Judy though, haha!

I love most of them. I voted for Judy, Bluebear (in spite not clicking; I think i just had too many peppies at the time), Pudge, Pekoe, Cheri and Poncho. Maple is pretty cute too.

I’ve been interested in Pudge since NL and HHD; almost had him but I traded for another villager that same day and . I do wish his eyes looked different, but regardless I still think he is a cutie. he looks so good with a sailor’s cap on.

Pekoe’s theme and her design is so pretty. I love her eye color and shape and her hair . Cheri and Poncho aren’t as big of favorites but I still think they are among the cutest of the cubs along with maple (didn’t know if I could vote for her as well).

I used to not like Judy because of her eyes but now I love her and her expressions, now that I’ve seen them.

Oops forgot to say which is the worst. A year ago I’d have said Barold, but honestly, seeing people’s screenshots, I think he is actually pretty cute and has his charms. I honestly think I like most if not all the cubs.

Every villager is special to someone. So I won't vote for the worst cub.

Luckily, this thread allows multiple voting. I went for Judy and Pekoe for obvious reasons.

voted for Pekoe cause she's currently on my island and has become a favorite!! Other favs are Stitches and Judy, but i decided not to vote for them cause they aren't currently on my island so i don't have the same attachment to them ^^

i also don't feel like voting for worst cub, simply cause i can get a villager and think they're unappealing and the next moment i can be super attached to them through playing the game. x3

Maple is the standard for cub villagers, i mean just look at her, her eyes, her bangs, not to mention her rosy cheeks, she's the perfect cub villager!

also voted for Judy and Stitches cuz i have Judy in my island currently and i had Stitches before on my ACNL town and both of them are really cute as well!

WORST: Barold and Vladimir. I especially HATE Barold, he's just so ugly. Vladimir isn't really that ugly but he looks like he's plotting something evil.

BEST: I don't know why but I like Chester.

If there's a bear species doesn't that mean that the cubs species are their kids?

Barold is the best. I let him go a couple of days ago to move in Lucky. I’m thinking of moving him back. I miss him. Barold is Love.

Best (imho): Stitches & Judy. They're both out-of-this-world cute! Stitches being a colourful teddybear with X for eyes (which makes him look more handmade [and creepy to some]) and Judy being a magical cosmic bear cub in pastel colours. Looks kind of nostalgic!
Worst (imho): Barold. Easy pick. I don't like his colours, his eyes, his mouth, his beard and his furniture/house theme. One of my least fav. villagers in the game.

For Murphy i just love my Cranky Boy and Stitches design is one of m'y ultimate favorite.

Special mentions to Cheri and Maple.

I really don't like pudge face.
