I like them both. But Tom is the one who has taken me more by surprise. I think he epitomizes what a Cranky is—a lonely male whose bark is much worse than his bite. It's a characteristic that says, "I need a little love and attention." He is surprisingly sweet. And he has taken a shine to Temps' Mayor, Alicia, and really digs her. He's already sent letters showing the love. So I'm going to keep him. In fact, from my five starting villagers in Temps—Snooty Queenie, Normal Fauna (of whom I have a copy in Progress), Cranky Tom, Peppy Penelope, and Jock Antonio—I find the one I must keep is Tom. He's a keeper!
