He dresses like that one uncle at your birthday party who constantly has to step out of the room or go outside because he got another phone call and then he eventulally disappears from the part altogether and your cousins are just there and they have to sleep over and when you wake up they're gone and you don't know why then you don't see them for like 5 years because it turns out that they had to move to new york in order to pick up on a buisness deal and your uncle comes back to visit you and now he has a bluetooth headset and barely interacts with you but thats ok because you still love him.

I think he looks cute in whatever he puts on, haha. And I think green definitely looks good on him. I'm glad they switch his clothes up from time to time.
I like his apron as well, but the fact that it's the only thing he's wearing...kinda creeps me out.

I definitely do miss the OG Nook?s Cranny apron but he would always change outfits with each store upgrade anyway and some of those styles were definitely worse in my opinion than the sweater vest (I?m thinking of the one where he would wear a white outfit with a white paper hat). The sweater vest is kind of charming though!

A sweater-vest is never a great look, but you hit the nail on the head with "middle aged." He's got "small business owner" written all over him and he just wants to kick it in an argyle sweater-vest and forest green chinos. If anything, it's the pants color that is the real tragedy, but considering how few characters in Animal Crossing wear pants, I guess it is much appreciated.

We know you don't like sweater-vests Archer.

To be honest, I never gave it much thought. Usually I'm just hitting the button to speed through his dialogue when making a new character or plot resetting. So it's the last thing on my mind. Especially when I had to plot reset most of my villagers in better places. That took way too much time.

i think it's cute and silly, so i don't mind it. goes well with his character and role in NL

I like both, but I think I have a slight preference for the sweater vest. Partly because he looks less naked haha. And I feel like it makes him look bigger, therefor more cuddly. He looks so round and dorky and I feel like it has more character than the apron.

I mean, he doesn't look that ugly in the outfit he wears now in New Leaf, but to be really honest,
I like Nook with his apron the most. I don't know, it just fits the best to him in my opinion.
