Who else has a second copy of New Leaf?

Recently I wanted to create a new town without destroying my old one, so I bought a digital copy of New Leaf. I'm curious how many people here have a second copy (or more!) due to wanting a second town/villager rotation/ect.

I have two copies of the game for precisely the same reason. Two copies allows me to keep a permanent game file on one and use the other to do whatever I want. Having two games is especially rewarding when you get the itch to restart, because you can without losing your permanent town.

I do. It's my weeding town, but will eventually become a regular town.

I have 2 because I wanted to have a themed town and also be able to cycle a little bit. Now I'm in the process of cycling out villagers so I can restart my original town.

Now if only I had 2 3DS's, that would make everything so much simpler. xD

I'm thinking of grabbing 2 more copies eventually. I'd like to do a little free cycling, but I'd also like a 2nd town to play with sometime. I bought a new 3DS so I still have my old one, and I figure maybe it'll be a good way to give it some use~
But I'm not willing to spend the money just yet~

I have two because I wanted to have two completely different towns. Kind of shot me in the foot though, because now that I have to split my time between two copies, neither of them will be 'done' anytime soon.

My main town is finished so i was getting a lil bored.. I just started a cycling thread as well ^_^

I have 3 copies. I completed my main town a while ago and I really wanted to carry on playing. So my bf gave me his copy so I could start a new town with a different theme. I have a copy I use just for cycling as well.

I bought a second copy when I lost my original copy. I didn't have as much fun with the new one as I thought I would so I was really happy to find my original copy after a year of it being missing. I just recently sold the second copy I had, so now I'm back down to just the one.

I have 2 because I wanted different themed towns, though honestly I find it hard to keep up with both. The only thing stopping me from going from 2 towns to 1 is the fact that I have all 10 dreamies in one but slightly prefer the other town. :-\ If I ever get another 3ds or maybe a 2ds though, I would reset and give it to my sister.

I recently got a second one for cycling purposes. Annnnd I may or may not have tt-ed to Mothers and Fathers day to get the carnations to breed in my other town shh

I just bought my second copy a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to try out cycling and now I'm stuck haha! I've met a lot of new villagers which is great. I'm actually thinking about replacing some of my dreamies. Not sure of which ones though.. .___.

I have more than 2 copies and play all of them. My main town is a private town that doesn't let online friend in. The only visitors it gets is from my other towns. My 2nd town is a Guest town that is set in a different season. It's Oct 21st right now. I leave the gates opened for friends to drop by and have fun. It's been 2 years since I've been playing so I added a third town when I got a NEW 3DS for my birthday. It's a town that I'm going to play my way. It's the first town that I added a boy player and wished I did it sooner. I have another town that is frozen right now. It's my beautiful town and the landscaping is complete. I'm leaving it like that for now.

I just made my main town into a cycling town because I was going to restart my town anyway. I thought about getting a second copy, but then decided that it wasn't worth it.

I have 3 towns--two are mine and one is inherited. None has a specific purpose; I just love having several towns and having some villagers I love but also the ability to leave room for variety. If I had the time, I'd absolutely have a 4th. I'm a little worried with AC: Happy Home Designer coming out that I might not have time for everything as it is.
